Question: How can I convert .mpg files into something readable by my Samsung Galaxy S3
When I transfer mpg files from my computer, my Samsung Galaxy S3 refuses to read them. I do not know where to download a safe program that will help me with this. Are there any suggestions? Thanks!
MPG is a file extension for an MPEG animation with the MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 compression codec. MPEG-1 was specially designed for Video-CD while MPEG-2 is used for digital TV broadcast and DVD. Samsung Galaxy S3 doesn't support to play mpg files encoded with MPEG-1, MPEG-2, but it has full support for the files encoded with the following codecs including MPEG-4, H.264, H.263, Divx, Divx3.11, VC-1, WMV7/8, etc.
